First Time Fail
Baking has always been a means of meditation for me. My favorite part is the decorating and that is why I prefer to make cupcakes. I’d like to consider myself somewhat of a talented amateur with a special skill for mixing colour, a fairly study hand for icing and a good eye for
detail. I am usually good at making something look and taste good on the first go but I think I’ve met my challenge -
Martha Stewart’s Chrysanthemum Cupcakes.
Maybe it’s the first time I’ve piped leaves, maybe I didn’t measure the ingredients correctly, maybe my heart wasn’t in it, probably a combination of all of the above but this was the first time I failed! I am so disappointed that I can’t even finish decorating them. They are packed up and in the fridge awaiting for tomorrow’s salvaging attempts or the trash.
4 cups of butter, 2 cups of sugar, 3 cups of flour, 1 wondering mind equals fail!
Fret not I will attempt this again and I will succeed and at least my cupcakes still tasted good ~ always an upside.

Thanks Kimberley ^_^
They tasted okay
I’ll bet they tasted great!
