types of vegetarians
Demi-vegetarian – no meat and poultry but yes to seafood
Fruitarian – eat mostly raw fruits, grains, and nuts, in the belief that only plant foods be harvested without killing them should be eaten
Lacto-vegetarian – eat dairy products but no eggs like cheese, cream, milk, and yogurt
Lacto-ovo-vegetarian – eat dairy products and eggs
Marcobiotic vegetarian – eat foods with a balance between yin and yang, usually followed for spiritual and philosophical reasons
Vegan – does not eat dairy or eggs, meat, poultry, or seafood and any products containing any of the ingredients mentioned
